#6 – Y2K "Year 2000"

Blog 6-Bibleland Early Concept Drawing.jpgY2K loomed, but chaos and destruction soon turned to sighs of relief. Actually, I never did buy into the whole doom and gloom scenario. The year passed quickly. Summer turned to fall and with the crisp cool air came a certain magic – bringing a desire for new adventures.

Bibleland had wintered from 1992 to August of 2000. Now I was revisiting the dream again. Allowing my mind to be free of all monetary restraint, I envisioned a Disneyland like facility. Instead of Mickey Mouse there would be Noah and Abraham. “Imagine, I thought, of the biblical Tree of Life in the middle of the Garden of Eden!” As paths meander through lush tropical plants, you see Seth, Adam, Eve and Cain retelling the story of Genesis. Just how big is Noah’s Ark?” I mumbled as I grabbed my calculator.

Would people be interested in seeing a replica and scenes from the pens of these inspired historians? My mind raced from one new and exciting diorama to the next. Sketching and writing every idea that flashed in my mind exhilarated me. BUT, I had to have one approval before I set out permanently and with confidence on this journey. The most important approval would not come from my wife. I would need hers secondly but my first approval would have to come from God.

In the next blog learn how God answered my request plus see a friend save Bibleland from the impetuous mind of a sanguine.
